I recommend Prophecies, it is the starting point...

If you started in Prophesies and then quit, you already have Prophesies. Why buy again, unless you didn't attach NF to it?

To the OP, if you already have Prophecies, did you attach your NF key? If so, the only things you don't have are GW:EN and Factions. As far as those two go, if you like the PvE side go with GW:EN, if you'd like to play some more PvP get Factions. Factions has a very short storyline and mission sequence compared to both Prophecies and Nightfall, but it's one of my personal favourite expansions nonetheless. GW:EN I didn't much care for when it first came out, but it's definitely growing on me. I find myself spending more and more time there.

That said however, Factions is selling quite cheaply at the moment, so if you can get it for under $20 (AUS for me) I'd get that one to try out, rather than spending full price on something you're not 100% sure about. Just my two cents.

I personally really enjoy Factions. Yeah, the story line is very simplistic, but there are some really cool areas to visit, the assassin and ritualist professions are good, there are some really nice armor, weapon, and items skins, you can then participate in alliance battles, and you can get the faction skills.

I also think factions has some of the best skills in the game, (dragon slash, spoil victor, icy veins), and you can get max collector armor quite easily there, too.

I found Prophecies to be too drawn out, and the story had you going all over the place for no good reason.

Pardon me, did you say that you already have Prophecies? Then all you need is Factions (love the story and settings) and EOTN after that :-)

If you already own prophecies, did you merge the 2 accounts? If so... then all you need is GWEN and Factions. I would get GWEN first.
